Mackenzie Lee a 17yr old Hunter Valley girl is making her mark in the music industry, with a passion for singing and songwriting she has a powerful voice fueled by her love of country music.


A 2023 CMAA Junior Academy Graduate, mentored by Dave Carter who stated Mackenzie is a brilliant guitarist and is so different to everything else he sees in country music with a little bit of blues in her voice that works so well for her, he can’t wait to see what’s next in her career.
 

Mackenzie was crowned the overall winner of the inaugural TCMF Macca’s Golden Gig Talent Quest in 2022 which provided her the opportunity to perform in the 2023 TCMF Opening Concert on the iconic Toyota Park Stage playing with the full band she shined with professionalism.


She also received the 2023 ICMA Patti McKinnon Encouragement Award and her most recent achievement being named the 2023 Todays Country 94one Central Coast radio “Brand New Star”.


Shaped by being raised on country music she has been influenced by many artists. Loretta Lynn, Waylon Jennings, Kasey Chambers and Luke Combs to Queen, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Steeldrivers and Elvis Presley just to name a few. Quite diverse in her music she takes pride in being able to entertain for all ages regularly performing at hotels, cafes, and private functions.


As an independent artist she has recorded two Ep’s. Her debut “Sometimes I Wonder” produced and recorded by Bill Chambers was release in June 2021, followed by her latest Ep self-titled “Mackenzie Lee” also produced and recorded by Bill Chambers and mixed by Nash Chambers at Troubadour House in Nashville was released March 2022.


Mackenzie is working towards expanding her music profession, recently completing her Certificate iii in Sound Production at Newcastle Tafe and is looking forward to continuing her studies in this field with the goal of recording and producing her own as well as others music.


Mackenzie Lee has the talent and drive to succeed.
